Yashasvi Jaiswal is an Indian cricketer famous for his batting. He plays for the Indian cricket team at international level matches. He supports the Indian cricket team with his left-handed batting and right-arm leg-break bowling. He made his international debut in the first Test against the West Indies in July 2023, scoring a century in his first innings in Test cricket. He also holds the record for the fastest half-century in IPL history, reaching the 50-run mark in just 13 balls while playing for Rajasthan Royals.

Jaiswal birthplace was Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 28 December 2001. His father was run a small hardware store, and his mother was a housewife. He went to Mumbai at the age of ten, to receive cricket training at Azad Maidan. He faced many hardships and struggles in his early life, such as living in a tent, selling panipuri, and working at a dairy shop.

Jaiswal rose to fame after his unbeaten run in the Giles Shield match. In this Giles Shield match, he scored an unbeaten 319 runs and also took 13/99 wickets. He was selected for the Mumbai Under-16 squad and later the Under-19 Indian cricket team. He was the highest run-scorer and player of the tournament at the 2018 Under-19 Asia Cup which India won. He became the youngest cricketer to score a double century in List A in 2019. In the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, he was the leading run-scorer for India under-19s.
